New Gambling Software by Gambling Software

Among several companies that specialize in Java-based Internet casino games, GamblingSoftware.com Inc. claims to be the first to successfully use the technology for a multi-player game. The company introduced its multi-player Pai Gow game, along with two new single-player games, May 10-12 at the Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo in Montreal.

They also debuted Spanish 21, a game that targets the rapidly growing Spanish and Latin American market, as well as an instant pull tab game. The three new products join the rest of GS's games--including blackjack, poker, Caribbean poker, video poker, slots, roulette and craps--which are available at online casinos operated by 40 worldwide licensees.

Pai Gow players can easily join in the playing and chatting without having to download chat software from the site or install it from a CD.

Spanish 21 is similar to standard blackjack, except there are no cards with a value of 10. Progressive bonuses are awarded to players who receive three 7s to make 21, or a natural blackjack.

Finally, the new pull-tab game is a richly designed complement to their instant game line-up, and exemplifies one the company's strengths in game design.

"The quality of graphics for instant play is unparalleled, plus the addition of Java-based multi-player games makes us stand out," explained marketing VP Paul Mendes. "Our mastery of Java makes GamblingSoftware unique. Finally, our quick turn around time for new clients--we move at Internet speed. In fact, we've been known to accomplish the turn around in 10 days, unlike other companies that require a much greater amount of time."

GamblingSoftware uses the latest technologies, including Java, Flash and Active Server Pages, in the development of its products. The company's server software is also cross-platform compatible with any standard database software, Web server, or payment system. Plus, the entire software package is secured with a server-side game logic to keep out hackers, while incorporating the strongest encryption-tools available.

Operators can keep tabs on their business operations through the GS's manager software, a Web-based access system that can be easily adapted to each operator's needs using a simple 'point and click' approach. Mendes says the backend server is a "very robust management tool" that allows the operator to identify winners for promotional purposes and implement a variety of marketing programs, along with other features.

Mendes also says more change is in store for the company. For one, the company, which boasts 10 programmers and game designers among a staff of 30, is redesigning its website. The upgraded site will provide prospective licensees with more detailed information about the company, he said, and "it'll be more fun!"

Mendes added that their entire software suite will eventually be made multi-player-capable--a plan that ties in with their focus on building gaming communities for players.
