Software Gaming Corp. has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Internet Gaming Corp is in Beta testing of its new version of CyberSpades Casino software.
This new software package features multi-player games, where players from around the world can join together at the same gaming table. While sitting next to each other, these players will now have the ability to chat back and forth in real time, creating a "virtually live" gaming experience.
A live Internet browser was also added which allows users to surf the Internet while playing the casino games. For example, a user may choose to have a live news ticker or stock quotes on his or her screen while playing a game of black jack. Version 3.0 also has a new multimedia 3D panoramic environment, in which users can virtually walk through the gaming rooms.
The software will be ready for release on February 16. Sports wagering will also be added to this new version of the software.
Software Gaming Corp currently operates an online casino, located at www.cyberspades.com and has also developed an online bingo game located at www.bingotown.com/bingo/ which can be customizable for licensees and charitable organizations, and is a software developer of electronic commerce solutions on the Internet for non-gaming specific applications.
IGN notes that there are a few other software suppliers who have created such software but it seems slow to catch on to this point.
