Nigel Payne, the former chief executive of Sportingbet, has a new position with GameAccount, the London-based skill gaming provider, as non-executive chairman.
Payne joined Sportingbet in 2000 as group finance director, assuming the role of chief executive the following year and guiding the company through a series of sports book and poker acquisitions.
"I'm thrilled to now be working with one of the largest gaming communities in the world. Multiplayer blackjack, dominoes and backgammon are becoming more and more popular by the day -- these are exciting times," said Payne.
