(PRESS RELEASE) -- Integrity Compliance 360, the leading global provider of integrity and compliance technology products and services for the sports, sports betting, prediction markets, and iGaming industry, today announced an expanded partnership with Novig, the leading sports prediction market, to strengthen trust, safety, and integrity across its federally regulated, 21+ exchange.
Novig is integrating IC360’s ProhiTrade “Bad Actor” technology to help combat threats and harassment directed at athletes, coaches, referees, and sports organizations. Through the technology, confirmed offenders and fraudsters are added to a centralized, encrypted registry shared across participating platforms in the Bad Actor network. Signify, the leading provider of social media protection to verify and detect bad actors, is collaborating on this initiative with IC360. This provides platforms with visibility to identify these individuals and restrict trading privileges for users who violate Novig’s zero-tolerance policy against athlete abuse and violence.
Novig is also one of two active exchanges currently utilizing IC360’s self-exclusion website selfexclude.io, a centralized and cross-platform hub for self-exclusion. Through the platform, users can initiate a cooling-off period that restricts their trading activity across participating prediction markets. The centralized approach provides a broader self-exclusion mechanism that extends beyond a single platform.
IC360’s market surveillance and alerting engine identifies real-time anomalies and flags vulnerable or compromised markets, utilizing its proprietary dashboard technology and expert investigative team to detect suspicious activity. Additionally, IC360’s flagship prohibited trading technology, ProhiTrade, allows Novig to check its customer base against a secure and encrypted list of covered persons, including athletes, coaches, officials, and other stakeholders who are restricted from trading on specific markets. Through this solution, Novig can prevent covered persons with access to insider information or the ability to manipulate market outcomes from trading on restricted event contracts.
The expanded partnership builds on Novig’s broader commitment to responsible trading. Novig’s platform is 21+ and the company has codified responsible trading standards into its exchange rulebook, establishing requirements across areas including product design, marketing and incentives, contract review, monitoring and detection, participant protections, and governance and accountability.
“We are thrilled to have a partner like Novig who values integrity and compliance as much as we do,” said Scott Sadin, Co-CEO of IC360. “In adopting a full suite of our services, they are not only taking active steps to safeguard their users and platform, but elevating standards across the entire ecosystem. Their commitment to critical initiatives like Centralized Self-Exclusion and the ‘Bad Actor’ program demonstrates this at the highest level.”
“Sports markets only work if people trust them,” said Jacob Fortinsky, Co-Founder and CEO of Novig. “That means keeping people with inside information from trading, giving users more control over their trading activity, and making clear that people who threaten or harass athletes shouldn’t be able to trade on our platform. The partnership with IC360 helps us address each area and build stronger protections into how Novig operates.”
