OPAP S.A., the Athens-based gambling operator, has announced that it has every intention on expanding its business but denies interest in Codere S.A. and Intralot S.A.
That statement pointed out that recent articles in the press about potential acquisition were “not based on evidence and are likely to simply project the already mentioned and known objectives of OPAP,” said the company in a prepared statement.
The statement also adds that the company has expressed interest in participating in the privatization of Milli Piyango, the Turkish National Lottery.
