PartyGaming Director to Resign

On Thursday, PartyGaming announced that John Davy, who was appointed as a non-executive director for the company in December 2007, will be resigning for “personal reasons.”

A replacement for Mr. Davy has not been selected, and he will remain in the role until it is filled, a company statement said.

According to his bio on PartyGaming’s Web site, Mr. Davy remains the non-executive chairman of Jongleurs Comedy Ltd., a diversified leisure business whose interests include television and corporate hospitality, and chairman of Mentor Inns L.L.P. and Lombard Asset Management Ltd.
