Penn National Gaming Inc. has appointed Ameet Patel general manager of its Argosy Casino Hotel and Spa in Riverside, Mo.
Prior to joining Penn National, Mr. Patel served as a vice president of Sun International and a director of Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
"Ameet's nearly two decasdes of proven management experience and his contributions to Penn National's Charles Town facility over the last seven years make him ideally suited to manage the Argosy Casino Riverside operations," Timothy J. Wilmott, chief operation officer of Penn National, said in a prepared statement.
