Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. on Wednesday posted a net loss of $18.1 million, or 30 cents per share, failing to meet analysts’ expectations.
By contrast, it earned $9.9 million, or 16 cents a share, during the previous-year period.
According to the Associated Press, this loss can be attributed to casino closures, an increase of operations at Lumière Place and a $1.5 million severance cost.
