Playboy is poised to open another club for dining, gambling and dancing in the UK, 27 years after the original Playboy club on Park Lane in Mayfair closed.
"We are looking for opportunities around the world," said Dick Rosenzweig, executive vice president of Playboy. "London will be logical for us. We had some very good years there."
According to the Sunday Times, Playboy has signed an agreement with Agilo, the London hedge fund that owns the Sports Cafe on Haymarket in London's West End to take over the premises.
Playboy hopes to open a new venue by 2010, and will use that traditional bunny girls in uniform to staff the club.
Playboy opened a club in Las Vegas two years ago and has plans to open a Playboy casino and hotel in Macau next year.
