Poker.com Teams with Starnet

Hoping to become the industry leader in gaming software licensing, Poker.com is teaming with Starnet Systems International in an agreement which will have Starnet providing a sportsbook and full suite of casino games to Poker.com.

Poker.com CEO Michael Jackson feels the move was an easy one to make. "It allows us to become the leader in software licensing," he said. "The Starnet software is as good as you can get, so this made a lot of sense for us."

Poker.com has set some lofty goals to coincide with the agreement. Jackson says the company hopes to easily surpass the 100-agreement mark, which he says would put the them at the top of the industry. "We hope to have 120 (licensees) in our first 12 months," he said. "It may or may not happen, but that is what we are shooting for." The agreement, three months in the works, creates a tandem that Jackson feels makes a perfect match for the two companies. "This license will complement our multi-player poker software and position Poker.com as one of the leading software suppliers on the Internet," he said. "I believe that this strategic relationship will be highly productive to both Starnet and Poker.com."
