PokerTek Inc., a North Carolina-based gaming product developer, and Lightning Gaming, a developer of automated electronic poker tables, have reached a settlement, PokerTek announced on Thursday.
According to the statement, all settlement terms are confidential. However, it goes on to say that the parties involved have dropped all litigation against each other, including Lightning’s lawsuit alleging patent infringement.
PokerTek added that there will be “no material financial impact” as a result.
“We're pleased to put these matters behind us,” said Chris Halligan, PokerTek’s chief executive, in the statement. “We're focused on building a great business at PokerTek.”
