After finding success in previous installations on cruise ships, PokerTek Inc. said its automated poker tables are ready to set sail on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.
The North Carolina game and software developer said it recently began a 90-day field trial on board the Norwegian Pearl, which the company said it hopes will lead to adding tables to all 11 of Norwegian Cruise Line’s ships.
Robert Perry, PokerTek’s vice president of sales, said in a prepared statement that the company hopes to see the same results with this cruise line as they have seen with others.
