PokerTek Inc., the North Carolina manufacturer of electronic poker tables, has won an exclusive contract as supplier of automated poker tables to Ameristar Casinos Inc.
"Signing a corporate agreement with Ameristar is a significant event for PokerTek," said Chris Halligan, chief executive of PokerTek. "We value their industry leadership and look forward to introducing our technology to their players."
Ameristar has already installed PokerTek's PokerPro at one of its casinos in Iowa.
Financial terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
