Poland Begins Drafting Remote Gambling Regulations

21 April 2008

Poland reportedly has begun moving toward a licensing and regulatory regime for remote gambling.

The country's Finance Ministry is drafting legislative changes and will then send them to the European Commission for review, according to industry magazine eGaming Review.

"We cannot control this process anyway and it is better that the budget at least derives some revenues from it," Deputy Minister of Finance Marek Kapica is quoted as saying.
