Probability Posts 10% Quarter-on-Quarter Revenue Gain

13 October 2008

Probability has announced unaudited results from the second quarter showing a 10 percent rise in revenue, quarter over quarter, to £1.37 million.

From July 1 to Sept. 30, the mobile phone gambling specialist was able to avoid the traditional late summer slowdown and reported 56,297 new customers, half of which were obtained in September.

“We believe that we could be enjoying a ‘Lidl effect’ in our business,” said Charles P. Cohen, Probability’s chief executive, in a prepared statement. “We offer a value proposition to our customers, and if people are feeling the pinch elsewhere, we think the signs are we can benefit from the downturn.”

Other business highlights from the quarter include Three network phones containing pre-installed links to LadyLuck’s brand and the launch of the “Italian Job Racing” game.

“Probability is continuing to build momentum,” Mr. Cohen continued. “We are highly confident in the prospects for our business, and we believe that our strategy for growth as a pure-play mobile gambling service is the right one.”
