Revenue Still Slumps in Nevada

13 May 2008

Nevada casinos suffered a 2 percent drop in revenue in March compared to the same period a year ago. Casinos on the Las Vegas Strip experienced a five percent decline in revenue over the period. It is the third month in a row for declining revenue figures.

Gambling on slot machines in particular is down. Gamblers across the state wagered $1 billion, or 8 percent, less than last year during March.
