Ritzio International Opens Casino in Colombia

Ritzio International has opened a casino in Medellin, Colombia, the company announced on Wednesday.

The 2,600 square-meter Allegre Casino features 490 gaming machines and 25 tables for blackjack, baccarat, Caribbean stud and roulette. The gaming floor also includes a poker room with six tables and a V.I.P. lounge.

In addition to the main gaming floor the property also provides a performance area with a stage for band concerts, dance and lounge acts entertainment.

According to Ritzio International, the casino was designed by Willy Gomez-Moron a Peruvian architect who specializes in the casino design. Mr. Gomez-Moron has previously decorated Admiral Prater Casino in Vienna, Austria and Ritzio’s New York Casino in Lima, Peru.

“The new upmarket entertainment destination will be a positive addition to the local attractions,” said Andres Jimenez Sanchez, general manager of Ritzio Colombia. “We have done our best to create an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and provide exclusive gaming opportunities to our guests.”

Ritzio International also said that the new casino has created 340 jobs in the area.

Allegre Casino will hold its grand opening celebration on Feb. 6.
