In a filing to the with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Las Vegas Sands Corporation announced yesterday that Andrew R. Heyer has resigned from the board of directors.
His departure, the troubled company said, was “due to increased demands on his time related to his personal business interests.”
The company’s board of directors elected Michael A. Leven, a current member of the board, to serve as a member of the audit committee, which made the committee compliant once again with New York Stock Exchange requirements of a three-member audit committee.
