The world’s tallest ferris wheel has taken on its first passengers in Singapore, offering them aerial views of the country as well as parts of neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia. Dubbed the ‘Singapore Flyer’, it stands at 541-feet tall – 98 feet taller than the London Eye.
The attraction was built by Mitsubishi Corp and Takenaka Corp of Japan at a cost of $170m. It opens to the public in March.
