GamePlanit Interactive Corp. and ProblemGambling.com recently announced that they're beta testing a new online version of their safe@play software geared to identify and help problem gamblers online. An earlier version of the software is being used in Video Lottery Terminals in Nova Scotia, according to Richard Johnson, president of ProblemGambling.com.
The two companies are hoping to make the online version of safe@play available to Internet casinos by the end of first quarter 2000. Information about the companies can be found at their sites, www.gameplanit.com and www.problemgambling.com.
