Wilmington, DE -- Starnet Communications International Inc. (NASD OTC-BB: SNMM) has entered into a Simulcast Agreement with Windsor Raceway to provide live horseracing coverage via the Internet.
Coverage from Windsor Raceway will be re-simulcast on Starnet's Internet gaming site, World Gaming (http://www.worldgaming.net). The horseracing system features real-time track, program and handicapping information, and live audio/video racing coverage. World Gaming intends to offer the option of placing wagers on the outcome of the races with a secure online wagering system, to viewers outside of the U.S. and Canada. The company now provides simulcasting from seven pari-mutuel facilities, and management intends to ally with additional organizations in order to provide 24-hour horse and dog racing coverage via the Internet.
World Gaming Services Inc., a wholly owned Starnet subsidiary, is licensed in Antigua to accept and process wagers via the Internet. In addition to "Webcasting" of international horse and dog racing, the multilingual World Gaming system currently features virtual casino games, sports wagering with a real-time odds feed from Las Vegas, a virtual bingo hall and an international lottery ticket brokerage. World Gaming and its global marketing partners currently promote these services to consumers residing outside of the U.S. and Canada.
