Starnet Licenses Three More Internet Gaming Systems

7 May 1998

Wilmington, DE -- Starnet Communications International Inc. (NASD OTC-BB: "SNMM") has licensed its customized Internet gaming systems to three new international operators.

"We now have six Internet gaming system licensees, and are in discussions with additional parties," said Starnet's CEO Mark Dohlen, who noted that Starnet participates in the online wagering revenues generated by every Softec turn-key Internet gaming system under license.

The first of the three operators, Internet Opportunity Antigua, will operate "Players Only Sportsbook and Casino" (http://www.playersonly.com) in Venezuela. The company's management has extensive experience in telephone sports wagering. Featuring a "Rock & Roll" design theme, the system offers virtual casino games, such as blackjack and bingo, and a sportsbook with a feed of real-time Las Vegas odds on a variety of international sporting events.

Isis Enterprises Inc. will operate, under the necessary permits, "Casino of the Kings" (http://www.i-casino.com) in Antigua. The company's management has extensive Internet marketing experience. Designed with an "Ancient Egyptian" theme, the system offers virtual casino games, a sportsbook, a brokerage of international lottery tickets, and simulcast Internet coverage of horseracing with pari-mutuel wagering (where legal).

The third company is Strawberry Fields Corp. and, like Players Only, its casino will be located in Venezuela. The system will include a casino, sportsbook, lottery ticket brokerage and horseracing simulcast/pari-mutuel wagering (where legal) service. Still under development, the company intends to operate its system under the name "Club Rio."

Softec Systems Caribbean Inc. (http://www.softecsystems.com) is a wholly owned Starnet subsidiary based in Antigua, which customizes and licenses turn-key Internet gaming systems to independent parties, in exchange for participation in the licensees' revenues.

Starnet (http://www.starnet.ca) is a fully reporting, publicly held interactive entertainment company, which identifies and commercializes Internet technologies for established markets.
