Starnet Releases New Internet Gaming Software

15 October 1998

Wilmington, DE -- Starnet Communications International Inc. (NASD OTC-BB: "SNMM") announced October 13 the release of its "Version 2.1" Internet gaming software.

Version 2.1 introduces new casino-style games—such as craps, Caribbean poker and Free Ride—bringing the total number of games to 22. "More games, enhanced navigability, increased user-friendliness, stunning graphics and streaming audio/video technology make 2.1 an unforgettable online gaming product," Starnet COO Jason King said.

The new software can be experienced at Starnet's proprietary Internet gaming site in Antigua, World Gaming (http://www.worldgaming.net). Version 2.1 will also be offered by independent online casino operators who license Starnet's technology, such as:

Other licensees not already fully operational are now having their software developed within Version 2.1 parameters.

In addition to casino games, the multilingual World Gaming system accepts and manages real-money wagers on sporting events, international lotteries and Bingo. World Gaming also offers simulcast racing coverage (wagers currently not accepted) from top-tier horse and dog tracks. Another wholly owned Starnet subsidiary, Softec Systems Caribbean Inc., customizes the same technologies for independent operators in exchange for royalties on licensees' revenues.

Starnet Communications is an Internet software, technology and service company, which commercializes on-line applications for established markets. The company intends to commence the development of "Version 2000"—three-dimensional Internet gaming software—in the latter stages of this fiscal year.
