Starnet Communications International Inc. (OTC BB:SNMM) has entered into a Simulcast Agreement with American Greyhound Racing Inc. to provide live dog racing coverage from Phoenix Greyhound Park via the Internet.
Located in Phoenix, Ariz., PGP has been operational for more than 40 years and hosts over one million visitors per year. PGP also simulcasts its year-round Greyhound racing coverage via closed-circuit television to 34 intrastate locations, and other pari-mutuel facilities nationwide.
Coverage from PGP will be simulcast on Starnet's Internet gaming site, World Gaming (http://www.worldgaming.net). Their horseracing system features real-time track, program and handicapping information, and live audio/video racing coverage. World Gaming intends to offer pari-mutuel wagering on the races to viewers outside of the U.S. and Canada, via its secure on-line wagering system. It has entered into simulcasting agreements with ten racing facilities, and intends to ally with additional organizations in order to provide a 24-hour horse and dog racing schedule.
Marketed in eight languages to online gamblers residing in Europe and Asia, World Gaming also offers 22 casino games and a sportsbook with live odds fed from Las Vegas and Europe.
Starnet has also announced that Atlantis Gaming Inc. (Casinoland) has ceased operation of its Internet casino. This will have no significant negative impact on the revenues generated through Starnet's subsidiary Softec Systems Caribbean Inc. ("Softec").
