Tabcorp Holdings reported an annual net loss today, which, according to Reuters, shows how the loss of its Victorian slot machine duopoly could have affected the company’s performance.
However, the Australia-based company, which owns four casinos, including Star City in Syndey, did say it would hold its dividend steady.
"While we are conscious of global uncertainty and a softening economy, based on the current outlook for the company, we expect that this payment per share can be maintained," John D. Story, non-executive chairman of Tabcorp, told Reuters.
