On Friday, Las Vegas Sands Corporation said it would be meeting informally with the Singapore Tourism Board to discuss the completion of the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore.
“Contrary to recent articles in the press, no significant changes have been made to our construction budget,” said Sheldon G. Adelson, the company’s chairman and chief executive in a statement.
“Considering how far along we are in the construction process, and the fact that the price of building materials have continued to decrease, we do not foresee any circumstances in which our construction costs would materially increase moving forward,” Mr. Adelson added.
