The Mercury News reports that Las Vegas Sands Corporation plans to cut more than 200 casino workers at The Venetian Las Vegas Hotel Casino and The Palazzo Las Vegas.
According to the Silicon Valley paper, the troubled company plans to slash the jobs in order to save $100 million annually.
In mid-November, Channel NewsAsia reported that building delays for a Sands development in Macau would put some 11,000 construction workers out of work.
