An Auction for Search Engine Placement
When you use a search engine to surf the Web, you are only accessing about 25 to 50 percent of what's actually out there. A new kind of e-commerce-focused search engine is designed to make searches more accurate and widespread and make a few mucks while doing so. It's called the "intellisearcher" and it can be found at win4win.com. Website administrators get listed by bidding for results placement that is relevant to services or information they offer. They then pay for any traffic that comes to them through win4win. The intellisearcher tries to make site matches as close as possible to the criteria entered by the Web surfer. They're currently doing about 10 million searches per month.
