One Stop Globalization Product Available
Maybe you've already heard that the Internet has turned e-businesses into global enterprises--a great thing in many ways. Unfortunately, global businesses don't operate under a global language. Instead, something like 92 percent of the world's population speaks a language other than English. Language barriers are just the first block on the road to developing an internationally accepted website and business presence. The new business operator also needs to overcome technical and cultural differences to succeed. What's the solution? According to planetarySales.com, they have a few tools to make your globalization efforts easier.
The Seattle-based company has developed software to help e-businesses determine from where a customer has logged onto a website so that the appropriate language and information is provided, as well as making the building, managing, maintaining and updating of multi-lingual websites easier. Company officials invite readers to check out their fully globalized website at www.planetarySales.com/iwire1.asp.
Wanna' Keep Your E-mail Secret?
"SafeMessage" from AbsoluteFuture.com is a new "direct messaging" service that sends messages between parties without using a central server, reports CNET News. The messages are also heavily encrypted, and include a function that automatically erases the message after a certain amount of time has passed. The new email tool was developed to protect messages from being read by unauthorized individuals, as well as to hopefully remove all traces of the message should legal authorities subpoena your records.
Cisco Delivers E-mail Too
Cisco Systems, Inc has released a comprehensive, enterprise-class solution for managing high volumes of customer contacts. The product, Cisco E-Mail Manager 4.0, enables contact center staff to rapidly and efficiently respond to e-mail inquiries, and combines intelligent contact management, Web collaboration, and e-mail management using Cisco's IP telephony networking solutions. Multiple contact channels from Web, phone and chat to VoIP, IVR, and e-mail can thus be managed in an integrated fashion in support of a
seamless and unified customer experience.
Use Sensory to Measure Customer Service Experience
Envive Corporation has released Sensory, a hosted service that accurately measures customer experience using sensors from various locations around the world. Sensory monitors websites, Intranet applications and corporate portals. It produces service-level reports, alerting IT personnel when service-level objectives are not being met, and is used to dynamically execute varying test transactions from any location for problem diagnosis. "In the Web hosting industry, allowing customers as well as internal operations to proactively monitor their systems is a differentiating added value, if not a necessity and Envive's Sensory has addressed these needs," said Stephen Wechsler, product development manager at Interland, a Web
hosting company.
