TrackPower, which broadcasts live simulcast feeds from 30 harness and thoroughbred tracks, has announced, starting January 10, it no longer will charge monthly subscription fees to its customers on the Dish network.
"There will be nothing to it other than calling up and telling us you want to turn it on," says Vice President of Operations Mark Gregory.
Television Games Network and The Racing Network also are available on Dish, TVG as part of Dish's regular package and TRN by subscription.
According to Daily Racing Form, Racing Network and TrackPower viewers need two receivers to view both racing and Dish programming at the same time.
