Eleven Mid-Atlantic track members of the Thoroughbred Racing Association, meeting today at TRA headquarters in Fair Hill, MD, adopted a resolution expressing unanimous support of the Torricelli amendment to Senator Jon Kyl's Interstate Gambling Prohibition Act.
The Torricelli amendment requires permission from a state's racing commission before an interactive
betting provider could take accounts in that state. Supporting the resolution today were Delaware Park, Garden State Park, Atlantic City Race Course, the Meadowlands, Monmouth Park, Philadelphia Park, Penn National, Charles Town, Laurel, Pimlico and Timonium.
