The Racing Network, partnering with the Ontario Jockey Club, is now fully operational in Canada. Its Woodbine production studios offer Canadians monthly service for $19.99 Canadian, with decoder and dish $499 in Canadian dollars.
The Canadian TRN service features live cards from more than 35 North American tracks. In July the TRN list included Belmont Park, the Meadowlands, Churchill Downs, Hollywood Park and Woodbine. Andrew Gaughan, a TRN vice president, said that on the basis of American reception he felt Canadian subscribers would "warmly embrace" the new home service.
