Television Games Network has announced it will launch its interactive racing channel July 14, with 12 hours of live racing and 12 hours of other features including polo, steeplechases, hunters and jumpers, merchandising and "anything to celebrate the horse."
Note to USTA and HRC: Here's an opportunity to get that video library material used. A lot of people
are up at night, watching television, and TVG will need a lot of fillers. Mark Wilson, TVG's CEO, said that "when fleshed out, there will be 14 or 15 hours a day of live racing, two or three international." He expects 10,000 subscribers during the first three months.
