Two Board U.S.S. Starnet, One Jumps Ship

3 March 1999
Starnet Communications International Inc. announced this week the signing of two new licensing agreements for its Internet gaming technology: Regency Internet Gaming Systems Inc. and Atlantic West Gaming Entertainment Ltd. The URLs for their websites will be announced closer to the launch of their operation.

Each of the licensees will be supplied with Starnet's customized Softec package, which consists of virtual casino games, a sportsbook with real-time odds fed from Las Vegas and Europe, and simulcast horse and dog racing. The licensees' customers will be able to place wagers via a secure online financial transaction system. The Internet gaming technology is licensed through Softec Systems Caribbean Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Starnet.

The company also announced that International Gaming Ltd. has decided not to pursue their venture of its Internet casino. They don't expect the development to have a significant negative impact on the revenues generated through Softec.

Starnet is an Internet software, technology and service company, which commercializes online applications for established markets. For more information, www.snmm.com.
