The United Kingdom’s Office of Fair Trading has approved Gamestec, Danoptra’s amusement machine division, to integrate Inspired Gaming Group's pub business, reports The Morning Advertiser, a weekly United Kingdom-based pub trade publication.
The agreement means that Gamestec will take ownership of about 30,000 of Inspired's gaming machines in pubs and other locations, which The Advertiser said creates the largest gaming machine supplier to pubs.
“We will now focus on putting the two businesses together as one -- strong and service-led," Stuart Ross, Gamestec managing director, told the publication.
