LONDON, England -- The British Government could consider introducing a tax on poker players winnings, the Daily Mail reported.
The suggestion came after a study uncovered evidence that skill features strongly as a factor in winners, the report said.
Researchers from three different universities, University of Nottingham, Erasmus University Rotterdam and VU University Amsterdam, collaborated on the study, which demonstrated skilled players did much better than unskilled players thus provoking the hypothesis that skill is required to succeed, the Daily Mail report said.
