UniStar Gaming Corp. has had some ups and downs recently. A federal court case caused this company, which had operated the Coeur d'Alene Indian tribes US Lottery, to cease wagers on that site. But, now that they've got a workable software and operations package, they've decided to target other lotteries around the globe who are ready to go online.

UniStar is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Executone Information Systems, Inc. The company has changed its name and will now be known as eLottery, Inc. Under the name UniStar Gaming Corp., the Company has filed an S-1 registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a spin-off from Executone.

According to materials put out by the company, it provides systems, applications and services to facilitate the electronic sale of new and existing lottery products worldwide via Internet, Intranet and telephone networks. Betting on the electronic distribution of lottery tickets through these system, they hope to help increase sales for lotteries because they "make the purchase of tickets more easily accessible because they make use of technology to enhance and enliven the lottery gaming experience".

Mike Yacenda, President of eLottery, commented, "The name eLottery better reflects our business strategy and strengths. We are confident that eLottery technology and experience will revolutionize the way lottery tickets are distributed and we look forward to completing the spin-off with a new name which, by its very definition, connotes who we are and what we do."
