First Asia, now Europe. Days after announcing a marketing deal with Yahoo!/Hong Kong, Virtual Gaming Technologies subsidiary VGTA reports that the company has also worked out an agreement with Capital Interactive, a division of Capital Radio Plc, London.
It's all about herding the masses, and under this agreement, Capital Interactive will provide promotional programs to drive its audiences, via Capital's online sites and those for which Capital is agent for, to gaming and betting online sites managed by Virtual Gaming.
Has Virtual Gaming struck gold? Time will tell, but there's no doubt that the credentials for Capital are impressive. 95.8 Capital FM, part of the Capital Radio Group, is a leading commercial station in London. Capital Radio Group broadcasts to a potential audience of 16 million adults in the United Kingdom. Capital Interactive maintains a network of regionally-based radio websites and a number of standalone websites, including online retailers. Radio audiences are driven through Capital Interactive websites via specially designed promotional programs.
"We are pleased to have developed this agreement with Capital Radio and its ability to drive its radio audiences through its websites linking onto our websites," Virtual Gaming President Joseph Paravia said. "We look forward to a lasting and rewarding relationship."
The first place Virtual Gaming will establish its new presence is a premier rugby site called "Scrum.com," which will see a lot of traffic come the Rugby World Cup hosted in Wales this fall.
