The status of 28 online casinos operated by 14 unnamed companies, for now, remains unclear. All of them are currently not taking bets and are said to be undergoing software upgrades.
It was reported several days ago that Claude Levy, who represents the 14 companies, had disappeared, but Levy has since been contacted and conveyed some of his intentions. Although he didn't disclose any details, Levy claims that Handa Lopez, Inc. (HLI), which provided the software via Skylink as well as e-cash processing to the casinos, owes them money "because of massive fraud and cheating and straight stealing. " He added, " We will use all the legal options to recover the funds."
Frustrated with the situation, a representative of HLI pointed out that the company has done nothing wrong and that Levy has not presented him or anyone else with a basis for Levy's actions. He also emphasized that the company has picked up the tab for the moneys owed to bettors with accounts at the 28 casinos because "the industry can't stand to have tens of thousands of bettors losing their funds."
The online casinos affected by the situation are AmericaJackpot.com, AmericanCraps.com, RoyalFlush.com, 3dBlackJack.com, HotGambling.com, MicroCasino.com, BritishCasino.com, HotCasino.com, LuckyJackpot.com, 1King.com, 3DSlots.com, SuperCraps.com, GlobalBetting.com, SuperMoney.com, AmericanPoker.com, 21BlackJack.com, BestCraps.com, NightCasino.com, 1RoyalFlush.net, CasinoHollywood.com, PokerJackpot.com, GoldenPalaceCasino.com, YourCasino.com, AtlanticCityCasino.com, 3DRoulette.com, GamingClubCasino.com, USAJackpot.com, NevadaCasino.com.
Note, however, that Golden Palace (http://www.goldenpalace.com), The Gaming Club (http://www.gamingclub.com) and Global Casino (https://www.globalcasino.com) have no association with any of these operations and are not to be confused with the sites above with similar names.
For now, when account holders at the 28 online casinos log in, they are prompted with the following message:
We have now 22 new great games, much better than the old ones from CasinoSoft. We are now upgrading this site for these games, but in the meantime, you can play at our main casino: LASVEGASCASINO.com the greatest online casino
Despite the fact that players cannot wager at any of the 28 online casinos, Levy maintains that they are not closed and that they will continue business. But, regardless of whether they begin taking bets again, all current players have accounts funded by HLI, which has nothing to do with the new systems being set up. Levy declined to comment on who will be handling funds in the future and who will be supplying the software. He also chose not to disclose any information about any of the 14 companies or their owners.
Bettors with accounts at any of the 28 online casinos can continue playing or retrieve their funds at http://www.funscape.com.
