Why SiGMA North America 2026 is worth the trip

14 July 2026
(PRESS RELEASE) -- With momentum building across the Americas, SiGMA North America 2026 is turning Mexico City into the industry’s September meeting point.
SiGMA North America 2026 is holding its first Mexico summit at Centro Banamex in Mexico City from 1-3 September. This event will unite gaming and technology professionals from across North and Latin America. Organizers expect 4,000 delegates, 1,000 operators, over 150 speakers, and more than 200 exhibitors and sponsors. Almost half of the attendees will be C-suite executives. If you are considering attending, the summit grants meaningful value. You’ll get three days of conference sessions, expo meetings, startup showcases, awards, premium networking, and post-summit affiliate events – all in one of the region’s most important capitals.
Mexico City takes the spotlight
SiGMA North America is coming to Mexico City as a counterpart to BiS SiGMA South America in Brazil. While the Brazil event already draws companies from across the region, Mexico City gives SiGMA a second meeting point in the Americas, this time with a stronger focus on North America and the wider Spanish-speaking market. With about five months between them, these summits give delegates the chance to network with both regions.
Mexico grants a unique competitive advantage. Its location between Latin America, the United States, and Canada makes it a useful base for international companies to connect across borders. The market outlook is also strong. Horizon Databook estimates that Mexico’s online gambling market could grow to $3.61 billion by 2033. The online casino segment is expected to nearly double, from $441.5 million in 2024 to $943.7 million by 2030. According to DGJS data cited by SiGMA News, there are over 350 licensed land-based casinos and more than 30 digital operators with SEGOB licences under the “.mx” domain.
A summit built around business, not just attendance
The Centro Banamex show floor will be a main hub for business at the summit. Over two days, delegates can attend product demos, meet suppliers, talk with operators, connect with affiliates, and see technology showcases. More than 200 exhibitors and sponsors are expected. Delegates will also have access to a VIP Lounge for meetings and networking, as well as a food court with various dining options.
Conference highlights across two days
The conference program addresses the key questions driving iGaming growth between North and Latin America. Instead of just a general market overview, the agenda covers topics such as market entry, regulation, AI, affiliate performance, fraud, and KYC – real issues operators and suppliers face as they grow.
Day 1 begins with “The Role of Global Operators in Mexico’s iGaming Market”. The panel includes Victor Arias, Vice President at ARRISE; Cristhian Gomez Villa, Managing Director of Emerging Markets at Betsson; and Germán Sarmiento, Country Manager at Betcris. This session will explore how international operators enter Mexico, bringing global brands, technology, and acquisition strategies, while also adjusting to local players and handling compliance issues.
Also on Day 1, “Regulatory Escape Room – North America Decoded: A Survival Guide to U.S. & Canadian iGaming Markets” is scheduled. This interactive session is for LATAM operators looking to expand into the United States and Canada, where complex laws and strict compliance requirements make growth challenging. The speakers are still being confirmed, but the main message is clear: successful expansion depends on understanding the rules.
Later, “Predictive Play: The Future of AI Personalization” will take place. Mauricio Soto, Head of Expansion for LATAM at Optimove, and Javier Troncoso, Co-Founder and CEO of InsightPlay.ai, will discuss real-time personalization, AI-driven recommendations, and the regulatory limits on these tools.

On Day 2, affiliates take center stage with “Affiliate Marketing in 2027: AI, Data & Personalisation”. Fernanda Figueroa, Head of Affiliates and Tier 3 Strategy at 1win Partners, will give a keynote on predictive modeling, dynamic segmentation, and automated optimization. This session connects to the broader September schedule, as affiliate networking continues in Cancun after the summit.
Day 2 also includes a session on Mexico’s unique risks: “The Identity Battle in Mexico: Growth, Fraud and KYC in a Market of 8 Million Players”. The panel will cover fast onboarding, stronger fraud controls, AML requirements, and deepfakes in the growing online gambling market. Speakers will be announced closer to the event, and delegates can check the official agenda page for updates.
Awards, networking and the SiGMA Pitch
The first big networking event at SiGMA North America 2026 is the SiGMA North America Awards on September 01. This gala celebrates innovators and companies in iGaming, bringing together finalists, sponsors, senior executives, and guests on the summit’s opening day. As a flagship evening event, the awards offer a premium networking opportunity before the main conference begins.
From September 01 to 03 at Centro Banamex, delegates can take part in many networking opportunities beyond the scheduled meetings and sessions. The program includes networking drinks at the VIP Lounge for Platinum ticket holders and the SiGMA Official Party, giving everyone the opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting and build new relationships.

Platinum ticket holders will also get to enjoy an exclusive premium activity in Mexico City on September 01. Details for 2026 are still being finalized, but SiGMA’s exclusive delegate experiences are always a highlight of its global events. Past experiences have included a cruise on Manila Bay, a safari in Cape Town, and diving in Dubai.
Later in the summit, on September 03, SiGMA Pitch North America will be held at Centro Banamex. Six top startups will present live on stage to investors, venture capitalists, and industry leaders. For early-stage companies and market-ready solutions, this competition delivers valuable feedback and the opportunity to secure funding or cooperative agreements.
Cancun takes the conversation beyond Mexico City
The September experience continues after the summit. From September 04 to 06, SiGMA Group will host the Affiliate Retreat in Cancun, offering an exclusive post-summit experience for the affiliate community.
The retreat is designed for 50 top affiliates and offers a VIP experience that starts with a private jet from Mexico City to Cancun. The package includes a two-night stay at a luxury resort, Michelin-starred dining, beachfront welcome drinks, adventure activities, swimming in a cenote, ziplining, ATV rides, a club night, and a catamaran tour to Isla Mujeres.

For affiliates, operators, and partners focused on Spanish-speaking markets, this is much more than a leisure trip. It extends the September experience, moving from the structured setting of Centro Banamex to a more intimate environment in Cancun. After days of meetings and expo sessions, the retreat gives participants extra time to build stronger partnerships away from the busy summit.
The timing works well with the industry calendar. After the SiGMA Affiliate Retreat, Affiliate World Americas will take place in Cancun from September 07 to 08. This creates a packed September schedule for companies in iGaming, affiliate, and performance marketing, so delegates can start in Mexico City, move on to the Cancun retreat, and then attend one of the region’s major affiliate conferences.
