Germany-based FMN Communications has developed a coin-operated Wi-Fi hotspot terminal that lets customers buy Internet access by the minute.
The terminal can be programmed and customized by a venue operator. It also allows customers with laptop and other wireless devices to pay for access.
Upon paying, customers receive a voucher that is valid for 24 hours until the user's first login.
