Winchester Mining Corp., one of many companies to announce a contract to operate online gaming websites using Softec software, went live this week with its first site, Hollywood Casino & Sportsbook.
The company will operate the new casino as a sublicensee of Global Interactive.
Coinciding with its emergence in the online gaming industry, Winchester has kicked off an aggressive marketing campaign. The company is developing an Hollywood-style shopping-mall website in which it will market its online casino by selling products that bear the Hollywood Casino name. It's also marketing a new product called the Outback Mountainboard, which it anticipates will be the shopping site's premier draw.
The company, dormant for the past two years, is negotiating with Global Interactive for additional sites as well.
