Spread betting firm WorldSpreads is considering a dual listing in Dublin this year.
The U.K.-based company, which listed on London's Alternative Investment Market last August, was named one of the top performing Irish shares in 2007, trading at an 80 percent premium to the flotation price by late November.
Group COO Brian O'Neill told The Sunday Business Post the company's board is "looking very strongly" at also listing the stock on Dublin's junior market, the IEX.
"We were very close to a dual listing last year when we floated, but we got a buyout approach so that distracted us for a few weeks," O'Neill said, adding that he believes a number of Ireland-based investors would be more likely to invest were the company to be quoted in Dublin.
