Online Gaming in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia offers limited online gaming through its partnership with the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (ALC).

The ALC serves the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The ALC offers online lotteries, bingo and some interactive games. The ALC offers offers a range of online games where Atlantic Canadians, including Nova Scotians, over the age of 19 can play lottery games, Digital Instants, iBingo and Pick’n Click and can wager on Pro-Line sports.

In 2010, Nova Scotia decided against forming its own legalized and regulated online gaming industry.

In late 2015, the government decided to survey 10,000 Nova Scotia residents to gauge the impact online gambling is having on the population.
