The government addressed the growing popularity of online gambling in the Bahamas within the 2014 Gaming Act. Under the new law, land-based casinos were allowed to apply for gaming licenses that permit some in-house internet gaming. “Restrictive interactive gaming licenses" allows players to bet online or on mobile within the casino property is allowed.
