Victoria's juggernaut gambling operator, Tabcorp, on Wednesday announced intentions to buy out New South Wales' TAB ltd., which is already one month into merger discussions with Queensland's UNiTAB. Court of Justice, the court today ruled that, "It is for the national court to determine whether the Italian legislation actually serves the aims of consumer protection and of public order and whether the restrictions imposed are disproportionate."
