Online Gaming in Marshall Islands

The Marshall Islands does not permit online gambling of any kind and does not issue licenses for online casinos, sports books, poker rooms, or lottery sites. The same 1998 Act is interpreted to cover both land-based and internet gambling, so there is no legal way for local or foreign operators to offer online betting to people in the country.

However, the country does allow companies to offer options and forex trading online, which are treated as financial or investment services rather than gambling and are regulated under separate corporate and financial laws.
