Last fall, Rep. James Leach, R-Iowa, attempted to get his Internet gambling prohibition act passed as a provision under an anti-terrorist bill. Gaming law professor I. Nelson Rose recently released an article addressing the development, which Rose calls "one of the most blatant attempts to use, or rather to misuse, the political system in the name of controlling gambling." The piece is a bit dated, but he makes some excellent points that are worth review.»
