As previously reported in IGN, the Isle of Man has passed its long awaited Betting Offices Bill 1999, which among other things, removed the limitation on the number of licenses available for sportsbook operators. Also under its terms, license holders will be allowed to take bets from punters outside of the U.K. and the British Isles.
