His company has just announced an agreement with the Seneca-Cayuga Indian tribe to install the company's new VC-2000 TM video clone software in the tribe's casinos, bingo halls and retail outlets. A strategic alliance between communication supplier Ericsson and Hong Kong e-commerce enabler Netalone.com Ltd. could bring gambling and more to the Chinese mobile commerce market. Netalone will provide technical expertise in e-commerce applications, cross-platform solutions and systems integration to develop an m-commerce platform to the deal. Ericsson, meanwhile, will provide a secured payment solution (e-pay) along with technical and resources support to netalone's e-commerce applications and make them mobile.»

On Wednesday, four leading "pro-family" leaders continued behind-the-scenes efforts on Capitol Hill to gain support for the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, H.R. 3125, by circulating a group letter calling for immediate action to pass the bill, which is the House version of the Kyl bill. Meanwhile, the U.S. House of Representatives Banking Committee has postponed its scheduled markup of the Internet Gambling Funding Prohibition Act (H.R. 4419).»

We urge you to support H.R. 3125, the Internet Gambling Prohibition Act, and bring it to the House floor for immediate consideration. This legislation would make it illegal for gambling businesses to place a bet or knowingly assist someone in placing a bet over the Internet. H.R. 3125, as written, would clarify existing Federal law and prohibit wagering on the more than 700 current gambling sites that are already available over the Internet.»
